Blockchain.hack() is a 1 week Web3 hackathon jointly organised by GAOGAO & One&Co. This event will be held in the second half of June as an extension of Blockchain.connect().

The theme of this Hackathon is "Web2 to Web3". The challenges given to participants focuses on using web3 technology to solve real-world problems faced by companies. Two companies will submit their problems and teams will have a 1-week period to develop and showcase their prototype.

Problem Statement 1
"Optimization of Food Supply"

In 2050, the global population grows up to 9.8 billions, and food supply is required to be increased by 60% to satisfy all. But in fact, the curerent food output is already enough. The problem is "supply chain".

How might we optimize the food supply chain for sustainable future? Please share with us your ideas!

"Unleashing the power of data and information"

The accuracy and reliability of information and data has bee increasingly important. In this context, we would like to explore the possibility of building new business models in the B2B or B2B2C areas by utilizing the unique information and data possessed by us. You do not need to stick to below items but here are the examples of our problems statements.
1) How might we use data and information for better cash flow forecasting?
2) How might we use data and information for Digital Treasury?
3) How might we use data and information for programmable payments?

This event focuses more on ideas than the actual implementation of the program. Not only is there a cash prize for excellent teams, but there's also the possibility of participating in business creation with our sponsor companies. We look forward to your application!

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is where your team creates solutions and prototypes to solve problem. In our Hackaton, we have invited comapanies to share real-world issues to challenage teams and reward the best ideas!

Where is the venue and how do I get there?

The event is held at One&Co, Singapore. Its 5 minutes away from Tanjong Pagar MRT.

What if I don't have a team?

We will host a team formation event at the beginning of the hackathon so there's no need to hack alone.

What can I build?

Anything powered by Blockchain! At Blockchain.hack() you can talk to the organisers and companies anytime to get feedback on your solution.

What if I have never coded?

You don't need to know how to code! You can join teams with seasoned developers and you can learn about Blockchain during the event!

Will you provide hardware?

No. We do not provide laptops or desktops, but we will provide screens and projecters to showcase your product.
